MANILA, Philippines — The fire that swept through Star City early Wednesday is now under control, the Pasay City Fire Station said.
The fire was declared under control at 4:32 a.m., a fire officer told INQUIRER.net that
It added that no casualties were reported, and officials are still investigating what caused the blaze.
The amusement park was first hit by fire in the early minutes of Wednesday. The blaze reached Task Force Alpha status at 2:28 a.m., fire emergency dispatch TXTFire Philippines reported.

Among those also gutted by the fire was the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC), a sister company of Star City.
Due to the blaze, the MBC said in a statement that Star City will be closed throughout the Christmas season.
