MANILA, Philippines — Moderate to heavy rain showers are expected over several areas in Luzon on Monday evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
In an advisory released 5:07 p.m., the state weather bureau said the rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila, Cavite, and Rizal within the next two hours.
Further, Pagasa said the conditions are also being experienced in the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Quezon, and Laguna which may persist within two hours.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” Pagasa said.
