Makaturing Street in Quezon City is full of jeeps and informal settlers. What makes the situation worse is that it has the blessing of the barangay captain, councilors and police. Please help, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and Mayor Herbert Bautista.

PUJ drivers court danger
Calling the attention of traffic enforcers, police officers and transportation officials regarding public utility jeepneys (PUJ) that have turned Masaya Street (near Elliptical Road in Quezon City) into a garage. This is also the case with the outer lane between Kalayaan Avenue and Maharlika Street. They pose a hazard to other vehicles turning into Maharlika and Masaya Streets. Aren’t operators of passenger jeepneys required to have their own garage before their application for a franchise is approved? On top of this, jeepney drivers travel at night without turning on their headlights. Can the MMDA post the number of drivers they have apprehended for this violation?

Trip-cutting in Valenzuela City
I just want to complain about the jeepneys in our area which ply the T. de Leon/Ugong route. Instead of going to SM Valenzuela, they stop at a terminal in Karuhatan and make you transfer to another jeep which will take you to the mall for an additional fee of P5.

Guardrail needed in Cubao
SM Cubao management should put a safety guardrail around a protruding fire hydrant at its building facing Seafoods Island. A pedestrian almost broke his leg when he accidentally bumped into the hydrant.

Car shop takes over street
Our street has been turned into an extension of a car repair shop. This poses a risk to our health but barangay officials can’t do anything to put a stop to the practice.
