Canceled flights on Sunday, Sept. 29

MANILA, Philippines — Some domestic flights were canceled on Sunday, September 29, due to bad weather brought by Severe Tropical Storm “Onyok.”

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the following flights have been canceled:

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Onyok slightly intensified as it moves northwestward over the Philippine Sea.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 was raised over Batanes and Babuyan islands as Onyok is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday afternoon or evening. /je
