Ecija drug suspect shot dead by cops

LAUR, Nueva Ecija – An alleged drug dealer was killed in a 4:30 a.m. clash with policemen on Saturday in Barangay (village) San Josef here.

Bobby Menil de Guinio of Cabanatuan City allegedly fired at an undercover policeman to whom he sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) during a drug operation conducted by the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), said Police Capt. Jonathan Romero, Laur police chief.

The suspect missed his target and was killed when the police retaliated, he said. /je
