Caloocan police arrest 8 drug suspects overnight

MANILA, Philippines — Eight drug suspects were arrested while 13 sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) were seized in a sting operation conducted by the Caloocan Police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit early on Saturday.

According to initial investigations by police, six suspects were nabbed in Barangay 175 around 1:30 a.m.

Another suspect was arrested in Barangay 24 after he tried to sell two small sachets of suspected shabu to a police operative.

The eighth suspect was arrested in Barangay 177 after police recovered eight sachets of shabu in an operation conducted at 4 a.m. —Meg Adonis
