MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail nationwide, the weather bureau said.
In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Batanes, Isabela, and Cagayan, including the Babuyan group of islands will experience cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa cautioned that flash floods and landslides are possible in areas affected by rain showers.
Wind speed in Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong coming from the northeast.
The region will likewise experience moderate to rough coastal conditions.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds from northeast to east will prevail over the rest of the country, the weather bureau said.
Slight to moderate sea conditions are also expected. /gsg
