MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 quake hit Zambales on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Phivolcs said the quake was recorded at 5:42 p.m., with its epicenter located 49 kilometers southwest of San Felipe town in Zambales.
The quake, of tectonic origin, had a depth of 17 kilometers.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks were expected following the quake.
