LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics agents seized P3.4 million in shabu, or crystal meth, from an alleged high-value drug dealer in a sting operation in Naga City on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Christian Frivaldo,  acting director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bicol, said Jonas December Batucan was caught selling shabu to an undercover agent at a resort at the village of Del Rosario around 2 p.m. Seized from Batucan were four heat-sealed plastic bags containing shabu weighing 500 grams. Batucan was detained at the PDEA jail in Naga City awaiting the filing of charges for drug possession and peddling. On Sept.  12, some P3.4 million worth of shabu was also seized from a notorious drug peddler in a drug buy-bust operation also in Naga City, hometown of Vice President Leni Robredo and which President Rodrigo Duterte tagged as a drug “hotbed.” Mar S.
