2 dead as motorcyle pinned under bus in crash

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya–Two persons died after their motorcycle was rammed by a bus along the national highway here on Monday, Sept. 24, police said.

Killed were Roderick Lanuza, 20, and Myrna Dumangeng, 29, both from Quezon town.

Ssgt Richard Aglubat, Bayombong police investigator, said Lanuza was driving his motorcycle at high speed before it swerved to the opposite lane and collided with the approaching bus.

Investigators said the motorcycle was pinned under the bus.

Aglubat said the victims were on their way to the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital to visit an ailing relative when they figured in the accident.
