Classes, gov’t work in some areas dismiss early for Nat’l Family Week

MANILA, Philippines — Classes and government work in some areas have been shortened Monday afternoon in observance of 27th National Family Week.

The following local government units announced that classes and government work are suspended starting 2 p.m.

• Makati (public schools and government work)
• Caloocan (public schools and government work)
• Navotas (public schools and government work)
• Mandaluyong (public schools and government work)
• Pasay (public schools and government work)
• Pasig (public schools and government work)
• Manila (public and private schools)

The Manila Public Information Office added that City Hall employees may also go home starting 2 p.m. except for those involved in the rescue operations in Malate. /je
