MANILA, Philippines — Some international flights have been called off due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced on Sunday.
In an advisory, Miaa said that the following were affected by the flight cancelation as of 12:45 p.m.:
Cebu Pacific
5J 922 Manila – Fukuoka (Japan)
5J 923 Fukuoka (Japan)-Manila
According to the weather bureau, Typhoon Tapah, with a local name of Tropical Storm Nimfa, is expected to cross the areas between South Korea and Japan on Sunday afternoon.
It would not be affecting the country anymore but the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will still bring cloudy skies and rain showers over the country. /je
