STO. DOMINGO, Nueva Ecija — A 54-year-old mechanic and his wife were killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen on Friday morning (Sept. 20) in Purok 7, Barangay Pulong Buli here, the police said on Saturday (Sept. 21).
Herman Moreno and 54-year-old wife, Imelda, were on a tricycle when they were attacked at 7:35 a.m. The suspects, who wore blue jackets, first shot Herman then gunned down Imelda as she tried to flee before they sped off.
The police have yet to establish who shot the couple and why they were targeted. Armand Galang/lzb
