Magnitude 5 quake jolts Catanduanes

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — A magnitude 5 earthquake struck Catanduanes province on Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in a bulletin.
Phivolcs said the quake hit at around 2:04 a.m. with epicenter recorded at Panganiban (Poyo) town in Catanduanes.
The earthquake was of tectonic in origin.
The Catanduanes Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PRRDMC) as of 5 a.m. are still determining the possible damage wrought by the quake.
It was felt at Intensity II in Legazpi City; Sagñay, Camarines Sur
Intensity IV- Panganiban, Bagamanoc, Caramoran & Viga, Catanduanes

Intensity III- Bato, Catanduanes
