MANILA, Philippines –  It will be a rainy Friday in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In Pagasa’s daily weather forecast, weather specialist Gener Quitlong said the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring light to moderate with occasional heavy rains to Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), Mindoro provinces,  Marinduque and Romblon.

The Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
