Aquino, sisters distribute gifts at Don Bosco

MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III and his sisters on the day before Christmas gave away gifts, including school supplies and Christmas dinner packages, to children in the care of the Don Bosco institution in Makati.

The Chief Executive, his sisters Ballsy Cruz, Pinky Abellada, Viel Dee and Kris Aquino also joined the children in a Christmas party at the school on Saturday morning.

Kris’ sons, Joshua and James, were also present at the event.

“We hope that we are somehow able to make your Christmas a bit better,” President Aquino said in a short message.

“We’re doing our best to make next Christmas even brighter… and for your families to really be together, that all will have an opportunity to improve their lot,” he added.
