31 Chinese nationals nabbed in Paranaque ‘sex den’ raid

MANILA, Philippines – Police arrested 13 Chinese nationals believed to be operating a prostitution den in Parañaque City.

The Parañaque City police raided the suspected sex den in a building along Roxas Boulevard and apprehended the 13 operators/handlers and 18 Chinese clients.

Authorities also rescued 51 Chinese women working in the suspected sex den.

Pieces of evidence pertaining to the operation of the sex den, including P1.8 million earnings of the establishment were recovered / confiscated by authorities.


The 13 Chinese operators will be charged with violation of Section 4 of Republic Act 9208 or the “Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003.”

Meanwhile, the 18 clients will be charged with violation of Section 13 of the same law, police said. /gsg
