Rapper ‘Loonie,’ 4 cohorts arrested in Makati drug sting

MANILA, Philippines — Famous rapper “Loonie” and his four other cohorts were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Wednesday night.

Members of Makati police station’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Marlon Peroramas alias Loonie and four other suspects identified as David Rizon, Ivan Agustin, Albert Alvarez and Idyll Liza Diaz.

The Makati police conducted the anti-drug operation at a basement of a condominium on Polaries Street in Barangay Poblacion at 8:45p.m.

Seized were sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana; cellphone and marked money./ac
