LUCENA CITY – The island town of Burdeos in Quezon province, the epicenter of a Magnitude 5.5 quake on that also shook parts of Metro Manila Friday (Sept. 13), did not suffer any major damage to infrastructure, police said.
Col. Audie Madrideo, Quezon police chief, said in a phone interview that the local police are still checking if there were any casualty or injury as a result of the quake.
“The earthquake was weak,” said Madrideo, quoting the local chief of police.
