MANILA, Philippines — Earthquake was felt in many parts of Metro Manila on Friday afternoon.
The earth’s movement was experienced in Quezon City, Manila, Cainta, Makati, Pasay, and Muntinlupa.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said a magnitude 5.5 quake hit the province of Quezon at 4:28 p.m. Friday.

Philvolcs said the temblor of tectonic origin was recorded 40 kilometers northeast of Burdeos, and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
Quezon City, according to Phivolcs, experienced the quake at Intensity IV. /kga
