Cimatu resumes Pasig River cleanup

MANILA, Philippines–Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu affirmed his objective to rehabilitate the Pasig River as the new chair of its rehabilitation commission during his first visit to the office on Tuesday.

“We have to clean up and maintain the 3-meter easements. This is what we will do in all esteros in Metro Manila,” Cimatu said. —JHESSET O. ENANO
