PRC: 61 new civil engineers in Middle East after passing board exams

MANILA, Philippines – There are 61 new Filipino civil engineers after they passed the board exam for applicants located in the Middle East, the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) said on Thursday.

According to PRC, this was for the August 2019 Special Professional Licensure Exams (SPLE) for civil engineers.

The two applicants with the highest scores for this exams are Ariel Agta Bantugan from Bohol Island State University who garnered an 86.20 score; and Robe Aloysha Aguirre Pingol from Foreign University, who had an 83.85 score.

A total of 313 applicants took the SPLE, which was administered by PRC Board of Civil Engineering chair Engr. Praxedes Bernardo and other members at various testing centers in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, KSA; Doha, Qatar; Jeddah, KSA; Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain and Riyadh, KSA from August 12 to 14.
