Piquero clan holds grand reunion in Bohol
THE heirs of Natividad Amora and Fabian Piquero held their third grand reunion last May 20 and 21 at the Central Elementary School in Candijay and Bitoon Beach in Anda, Bohol.
Aiming to maintain the continuity of generations and establish mutual moral responsibility within the clan, the grand reunion gathered almost 200 participants from the nine married siblings of Natividad and Fabian.
Day one started with a grand parade along the national road of Candijay, Bohol where each family wore color-coded t-shirts with streamers to identify their roots.
It was followed with a Mass for the departed loved ones and a program featuring the video documentation of the last two grand reunions.
A raffle draw was also conducted.
Day two was the usual beach gathering at Bitoon Beach Resort.
The Piquero is looking forward to their fourth grand reunion on May 2014.
