MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will affect Northern and Central Luzon on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its morning forecast, Pagasa said that Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides should be expected by the public residing in the said areas, Pagasa warned.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers but as effect of localized thunderstorms.
Temperature for Sunday will range between 26.0 °C to 31.2 °C. Sunrise was recorded at 5:44 a.m. while sunset is expected at 6:03 p.m. /je
