LUCENA CITY — Police arrested two former drug convicts and a drug surrenderer in a buy-bust operation in Candelaria town in Quezon province on Friday.

The Candelaria police reported that Pedro Ramos Jr., 40; Ruel Yazon, 39; and Ronniemar Aranas, 29, were collared after they sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a transaction along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Masin Norte around 10:45 a.m.

Authorities seized five sachets of shabu worth P4,800 in the street market and a motorcycle believed being used by the suspects in their illegal activities.
