MANILA, Philippines — Commuters on Friday endured standing in long lines just to get to work after the MRT-3 suspended operations due to a power supply glitch.

A long line of commuters was seen along the MRT-3 North Avenue station as they waited for operations to resume.

The MRT-3 management said that the cable of the Overhead Catenary System at the Guadalupe station (northbound) in Makati City was cut off, affecting the entire railway system’s power supply distribution.

No announcement has been on when the train will resume operations, as of this writing. /je
