MANILA, Philippines – The Metro Line Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) suspended operations Friday morning due to lack of power supply from the Shaw Boulevard station in Mandaluyong City to Santolan station in Quezon City.

In a statement on Friday, the MRT-3 management said the cable of the Overhead Catenary System at the Guadalupe station (northbound) in Makati City was cut off, adversely affecting the entire railway system’s power supply distribution.
