LOS BAÑOS, Laguna – A man died after the motorcycle he was driving figured in a four-vehicle collision along the national highway in Los Baños town in Laguna province Thursday morning.
The fatality was identified as Jayson Perico, a resident of Biñan City, Laguna.
Los Baños police chief Lt. Col. Louie Dionglay, said in a text message that the collision happened around 5 a.m. in Barangay Maahas.
Dionglay said a forward truck was traveling southbound when it overtook Perico’s motorcycle. To avoid being sideswiped by the truck, the motorcycle swerved to its left but was hit by a sports utility vehicle and another dump truck that came from its behind.
Perico died while being taken to the Healthserv Medical Center in Los Baños. Kimmy Baraoidan and Maricar Cinco/lzb
