Robber dead in Cavite shootout
SAN PEDRO CITY –– An alleged robber was killed in a shootout with the police in General Trias City in Cavite province Thursday morning.
Police have not yet identified the male suspect slain around 3:30 a.m.
A report from the Calabarzon police said authorities were alerted after two men broke into a house inside Metro South Village in Barangay Manggahan.

When police arrived at the scene, one of the suspects reportedly opened fire, prompting the policemen to shoot back.
