MANILA, Philippines — “Go Malasakit,” the latest public service program of Inquirer 990 TV aired another story of a patient who got financial assistance from Malasakit Center, the flagship program of Sen. Christopher Lawrence Go.

Marilou Macapagat sought the assistance of Malasakit Center when his son, Jonathan, was diagnosed with pulmonary edema, which is typically caused by liquid filling up of the alveoli in the lungs.

Jonathan was confined at Lung Center in Quezon City and his bill went up to P130,000.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Malasakit Center dahil wala na akong binayaran sa hospital bill ko kahit piso. Maraming salamat kay Senador Bong Go at kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” Marilou said.

“Go Malasakit” is anchored by Assistant Secretary Jonji Gonzales of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas and TV Inquirer host Chona Yu. It airs every Thursday, from 6 to 7 p.m.
