Man drowns as he swims at Zambales beach resort

IBA, ZAMBALES–The body of a 22-year old man who drowned at a beach resort here was found on Wednesday (Sept. 4), police said.

The victim was identified as Bill Reener Antonio, a resident of Barangay Atlu Bola in Mabalacat town, Pampanga province.

Investigators said Antonio was dragged by the strong currents after he and two of his friends went for a swim at a public beach in Barangay Lipay-Dingin around 4 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 2).
