MANILA, Philippines — Two newly-repaired aircraft of the Philippine Air Force will soon be back in the skies after rejoining the fleet recently.
The restored aircraft were the Bell UH-1H Huey combat utility helicopter with tail number 806 and Cessna T41-B basic training aircraft with tail number 048, the Air Force said in a statement on its website.
Air Force chief Lt. Gen. Rozzano Briguez led the blessing and turnover ceremony for the aircraft last week in Clark Air Base, Pampanga.
He also witnessed the turnover of new vehicles for the Air Force.
“This activity showed that the PAF through Air Logistics Command upholds to pursue a more progressive PAF entailed in securing our precious skies,” the Air Force said. /je
