MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 3:42 p.m. at 90 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso.
Phivolcs said the temblor was of tectonic origin, and had a seven-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks and damages are to be expected, Phivolcs added. /muf
