P1.3M shabu seized from 2 construction workers in QC

MANILA, Philippines — The anti-drug agency arrested two construction workers and confiscated P1.3 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Friday night.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s (PDEA) Regional Office in the National Capital Region identified the suspects as Louie Clutario, 39, and Garry Navarro, 40, both residents of Barangay Payatas.

The two were arrested after they sold shabu to an undercover PDEA agent at the corner of Ilang-Ilang Street and Dahlia Street in Barangay Payatas at 6 p.m.

Seized were 200 grams of shabu worth P1,360,000, a cellphone, wallet and marked money.

The suspects were taken to the PDEA NCR office and charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against them.
