3 suspected drug pushers fall in Lucena drug sting

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation here Wednesday.

The suspects, Nhel Rose Magpantay, Lyza Reyes and Jerome Gilbuena, were collared by anti-illegal drugs operatives after they sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer and a confidential
informant in Barangay 5 around 3 a.m., Lt. Col. Reydante Ariza, Lucena police chief, said in a report.

The suspects yielded 16 sachets of shabu weighing nine grams worth P49, 500 in the street market.

Barangay officials and a local news reporter witnessed the seizure of illegal drugs and marked money.

The suspects, all newly identified drug personalities, were detained at the city police jail./lzb
