Track of Tropical Storm Jenny
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm “Jenny” maintained its strength as it approaches Central Luzon on Tuesday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.
In its 2 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Jenny may be expected to hit Aurora province either Tuesday night or early Wednesday as it moves 25 kilometers per hour northwest, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
The state weather bureau said the tropical storm was last spotted some 375 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon.
Pagasa has raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 over Isabela, Aurora, and Quirino.
It also hoisted TCWS No. 1 over Metro Manila, Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, northern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands and Alabat Island, Cavite, Laguna, Camarines Norte, northeastern portion of Camarines Sur and Catanduanes. /kga
