LOOK: Manny Pacquiao honored by AFP with Commendation Award

Sen. Manny Pacquiao has been recognized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recently with a commendation, adding to his previous honors from the AFP.

“Proud of you @mannypacquiao. The Armed Forces of the Philippines awarded @mannypacquiao [with] the Chief of Staff, Commendation Award,” his wife Jinkee said in her Instagram post last Sunday, Aug. 25.

Manny received the award at the AFP headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. He was accompanied by Jinkee, who helped in placing the award on the senator.

The senator-professional boxer sported a uniform of the AFP, complete with a set of badges and ribbon bars. Meanwhile, the ever-stylish Jinkee donned a pale pink dress with prints of baby angels.

Manny also wore the traditional Barong Tagalog, while he and his wife posed alongside other members of the AFP, as seen in the series of photos Jinkee shared on Instagram.

Manny also joined the ranks of the Army Scout Rangers as an honorary member earlier this March.

He first enlisted as a Sergeant in 2006. He was then promoted to Technical Sergeant in the same year, and later as a Master Sergeant in 2009.

Manny was also promoted to the rank of Colonel in 2017. JB
