MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled Friday due to the prevailing inclement weather in parts of Luzon, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.
In an advisory, Miaa announced the cancellation of the following flights:

M8 713 Manila-Busuanga
M8 714 Busuanga-Manila
M8 715 Manila-Busuanga
M8 716 Busuanga-Manila
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Friday that stormy weather may be expected over Batanes and Babuyan group of islands due to Severe Tropical Storm “Ineng.”
It also said that Ineng will bring rains with gusty winds over Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, and Ilocos Norte.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought by the southwest monsoon, according to the state weather bureau.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will likewise prevail over Mindanao, it added. /kga
