MANILA, Philippines — Convicted rapist and murderer former Calauan, Laguna mayor Antonio Sanchez should be shot “in the back of the head,” Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said on Friday.

The foreign affairs chief said this amid reports on the possible release of Sanchez, who was sentenced to serve up to 280 years in prison for the 1993 brutal killing of two University of the Philippines-Los Baños students.

“Shoot the shit in the back of the head. Anything less is a sellout. Anything less clear is the same,” he said over Twitter.

This was Locsin’s latest statement regarding Sanchez. He earlier said the former mayor “deserves to die in his cell.”

On Tuesday, the Bureau of Corrections and the Department of Justice said Sanchez was among the 11,000 national prisoners to be released in two months after a recomputation of their good conduct time allowance (GCTA) according to Republic Act 10592.

GCTA is earned as a reward for an inmate’s good behavior and deducted from the prison sentence that an inmate needs to serve.

“We are not throwing away the unprecedented gigantic political capital of two landslide electoral victories — essential for major reforms — for this sick caricature of an hijo de puta. Period,” Locsin said in an earlier tweet.

Reacting to Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa’s remark saying that Sanchez should have been sentenced to death, Locsin said: “Well then, kill him.”

“He won’t be the first to be shot to pieces behind bars. No loss, no regrets, no nothing,” the country’s top diplomat said.

“People today talk a lot about killing but nobody kills when killing needs to be done. Fucking fairies. All talk,” he added.  /muf
