MMDA: Number coding lifted on Wednesday, August 21
MANILA, Philippines – The number coding scheme will not be in effect on Wednesday, August 21, as the nation commemorates Ninoy Aquino Day, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Tuesday.
In a Facebook post, MMDA chairman Danilo Lim advised the public to plan their trips ahead and to always be careful while on the road.
“ADVISORY: Suspendido ang number coding scheme sa, August 21 (Miyerkules) bilang pakikiisa natin sa paggunita ng Ninoy Aquino Day. Planuhin na ang mga lakad at laging mag-iingat sa pagbiyahe,” Lim said.
