Man drowns in Zambales river

CANDELARIA, Zambales – A man drowned after taking a dip in a river here on Sunday (Aug 18), police said.

The victim was identified as Jesus Alonzo, 47, a resident of Barangay Malabon, investigators said.

Police said Alonzo was swept away by the river’s strong current while and he and his friends were swimming.
