Benguet vegetable trader slain in gun attack

BAGUIO CIY—A vegetable trader was shot dead in La Trinidad, the capital town of Benguet province on Thursday (Aug 15), police said.

Investigators said two unidentified men shot Jonathan Santiago, 38, several times around 10:50 a.m. at the village of Balili.

Police said the victim, a native of Kapangan town also in Benguet, was attacked right after getting off a taxi.
