MANILA, Philippines — More than 3,000 farmers and their dependents may avail themselves of scholarships in entrepreneurial courses under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, following a partnership between the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and the skills development agency.
Under the agreement, training on entrepreneurial courses such as baking, dressmaking and automotive mechanic are offered.
DAR information officer Richard Gallardo said farmer-beneficiaries which include their spouse and children and their dependents may go to their provincial or regional DAR offices to inquire and apply.
