Pagasa: Scattered rain showers expected due to southwest monsoon

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Luzon are may experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday due to the southwest monsoon, the state weather bureau said.

In its daily forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the southwest monsoon will be affecting the western section of Luzon.

The Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales and Bataan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the said weather system.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said.
