MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck off Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 11:56 p.m. on Friday at 139 kilometers southeast of the municipality.
Phivolcs said the tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 110-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks and damages were expected, Phivolcs added.
