#WalangPasok: Class suspensions for Saturday, August 10

(Editor’s note:  In an earlier post we reported that Valenzuela City had canceled classes in all levels. Only classes from preschool to senior high school have been suspended for the day. We apologize for the error.)

MANILA, Philippines — Some local government units have announced suspension of classes on Saturday, Aug. 10, due to heavy rains brought about by “Habagat” or the southwest monsoon.

Those with suspended classes are:

Metro Manila

Valenzuela — preschool to senior high school (public and private)

Some universities too have announced suspension of classes because of inclement weather.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines — Classes in all branches in the National Capital Region (including Open University, Graduate School and College of Law) are suspended starting 12 noon. /jpv/muf
