MANILA, Philippines — A green safety net that was dangling on the Overhead Catenary System (OCS) of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) disrupted train operations on Friday afternoon, the MRT-3 management said.

In an advisory, the management said the construction safety net was hanging on the OCS between North Avenue and Quezon Avenue stations both northbound and southbound at around 1:44 p.m.

Train traffic was then regulated as the line’s management’s dispatched personnel to clear the OCS.

After more than 15 minutes, the construction safety net was removed from the OCS and normal operations resumed at 2:07 p.m. /muf
