2 dead in Cagayan road mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY –– A 63-year-old father and his 21-year-old son died while two others were wounded when a pick-up car rammed their “kuliglig” (farm tractor)in Cagayan province on Wednesday night, police said.

Investigators identified the fatalities as Inocencio Fermin Sr. and his son Inocencio Jr., both of Fula village in Buguey, Cagayan.

Seriously wounded were Prince Jay Columna and Juliet Miranda.

Police Lt. Ma. Teodora Cabral, Camalaniugan police chief, said pick-up driver Ernesto Rabit Jr. overtook another car and collided with the kuliglig in front of it in Barangay Cullit, Camalaniugan.

Rabit is facing charges of double homicide and physical injuries. Villamor Visaya Jr.
