MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of the University of the Philippines – Manila topped the pharmacist licensure exam this August, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.
The PRC said Janelle Samantha Que See topped the exam with a rating of 92.58%, followed by Van Angelo Ong Sy from the Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela with 91.37%, Jemimah Gyra Celedonio Escote from the University of the Philippines – Manila with 90.90%, and Cristine Plaza Malvar from the University of the Immaculate Conception – Davao with 90.77%.
Also in the top 10 are the following:
- Claribel Isis Tanchaco Tiu, University of Santo Tomas: 90.57%
- Herra Corazon Tan Salinas, University of San Carlos: 90.55%
- Mark Lingan Pagulayan, University of Santo Tomas: 90.30%
- Justin Dave Magracia Manantan, Centro Escolar University – Manila: 90.13%
- Nikko Temblor Lim, Centro Escolar University – Manila: 90.12%
- Zadkiel Flores Velasquez, University of the Philippines – Manila: 90.10%
Saint Louis University was declared as the top performing school in the exam, followed by the University of San Carlos, University of Santo Tomas, Negros Oriental State University – Dumaguete, and Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela.
The PRC said 3,097 of 4,455 examinees passed the exams given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
