MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and several other provinces in Luzon are expected to experience light to moderate rains on Wednesday evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In a rainfall advisory released 5 p.m., the state weather bureau said that residents of Metro Manila, Tarlac, Cavite, Rizal, and Quezon could expect light to moderate rains due to the southwest monsoon.
Pagasa also said light to moderate rains are affecting the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Laguna, and Batangas.
The state weather bureau advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management offices to continuously monitor the weather.
